Our goal is to understand and treat your headaches. Treatment begins with an in-depth evaluation of your medical and headache history performed by a multi-disciplinary team of headache specialists using the most up-to-date neurologic testing and techniques.

During this evaluation we will listen to you and we will answer your questions so that we may get to know you as an individual. When you've completed this 2 to 4 hour session, you will have learned a lot about your different headache types and the treatment options for each. You will also be given your own written treatment plan along with a headache calendar to monitor your progress.

Depending on your particular circumstances, your comprehensive treatment plan may involve diet, nutrition, and sleep modification, exercise, acute care and daily preventive medication, behavioral therapy, biofeedback training, recommendations for lifestyle changes, and additional medical referrals or diagnostic tests if necessary.

With patience, realistic expectations and a sense of partnership with our caring staff, your ability to manage your headaches will grow. When headaches are no longer the focus of your life, your treatment is likely to require only periodic review.
